RUSSELL HONS - OWNER - INVESTIGATOR

Russell attended the University of North Dakota and studied Criminal Justice and Sociology. Russell founded Hons Investigations in 1992, after working for several security and investigation firms in the area. He is an experienced investigator with extensive continuing education in Legal, Workers Compensation, Pre-Emplyment Screening, Child Custody, Auto Accident, and Insurance Claims Investigations, as well as Photography and Service of Process. He has secured many return clients including major insurance companies, schools, banks, medical facilities, railroads, government agencies, and large law firms. He is actively involved in a large number of investigations assigned to Hons Investigations. He has been featured in local, regional and national publications, most recently, the Spring Issue of PI Magazine, as well as numerous radio and television programs. In July of 1999 Russell was appointed to the North Dakota Private Investigations and Security Board, by North Dakota Governor Ed Schafer, for a four year term on this regulatory board.  He was subsequently re-appointed in 2003, 2007, and 2011. He resigned from the regulatory board in 2012 after serving for 8 years as the Chairman.
